Google Structured Data Plugin A SEO Must

We have been trying to keep up with Google’s AI Overview and how SEO is changing how users use “search”, and making sure your websites information is ready for it. A few years ago we added Google Structured Data plug in by Tassos to some Joomla websites, and Yoast on WordPress websites. We didn’t notice a difference; however, our rankings on each of the sites was going up.

Now as Google’s AI Overview is making it’s way across the Internet having your webpages “AI” ready increases your rankings. The schema makes it quick and easy for Google’s AI to understand the content and index it better.

We started caring about Structured Data when Google was pushing AMP or Accelerated Mobile Pages. This was so mobile devices can load pages faster with just the basic content. We had seen that AMP was going away, but we were glad we still left our pages setup for AMP.
