SquareSpace Form Suddenly Changed Without Me Knowing It

We got a call from a customer asking us why there was a typo in form submission of their SquareSpace website we recently updated. We looked into it, and the changes we made a week before were gone. We never changed the copy in the form label of this particular field where the typo was. We only added two new options. We were at a loss.

We did a Google search and sure enough there were a number of others who have had stuff like this happen to their forms. We learned that SquareSpace makes updates to their form component and it sometimes changes peoples forms. Some have the contact email address changed. We really don’t have an anwser, but it is nice to know we are not going crazy.
