Russia’s GRU – Reboot Your Home Router

Our security team advised us to reboot our home routers because intelligence is coming over that Russia’s GRU is exploiting vulnerable routers world wide in an attempt to gain access to government systems. With many worker still having the ability to work remotely from home this could be the Trojan horse that allows bad actors to access sensitive data. Simply rebooting your home router will break a connection.

Rebooting daily is a good preventative task to do each day. Attackers often use links in an email to get connected to your machine or phone rebooting will break that connection and they will need to send another link.
